BELOVED

Here is a vignette I wrote for a Christmas program, there were three of us and we were asked to write and present it separately about Christmas through a different perspective. I have been on stage before, but never by myself, GOD was so present, I was walking on air :) I wanted to share with you.

Come with me and listen to what the Lord may have said
as he watches over Mary and Joseph as they journey to Bethlehem.

Be still and listen to me…
As I whisper your name so your heart can hear…
On rocky paths and desert places
I will be with you…
Your names are written on my hand, ever before me.

I made the sunset colors fade…
As the moon takes its place…
 I filled the desert night
With fragrance for your delight…

Come… now is the time,
Events have been set in motion
I have chosen a destiny that you cannot imagine
Treasure these moments in your heart…

When joy turns into sorrow, know this:
The enemy is defeated…
My song will rise and live forever
I will transform you with hope and grace…

My beloved,
how precious you are to me
Stay ever close…
Bethlehem is near, do you see…

Be still and listen to me…

BREATHE

Are you ready for Christmas? I am almost there J One of the reasons I love Christmas is that is how I connected with God at a very young age. I learned about Jesus. The Christmas songs, hymns all drew my heart by the Spirit. It is one of ways I held on to the truth.

Breathe in me again

I need more of your presence

I need more of your Spirit.

Fill me with the Joy of your Love.

Breath of God flow over my life,

Flow over my ministry

Flow over my family and friends.

Empower me with the power of the Holy Spirit

To break the enemy’s hold on my life, in my family’s

Life and in my friends lives.

Spirit of God bring, healing, deliverance and joy to flow in and around me.

Breathe in me again, anoint me with fresh oil, and empower me to live for you.

My desire is for the one who holds the stars in the palm of His hand.

In your presence I fall into your arms again, because you are always there to catch me. Holy Spirit Breathe in me.

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound Isaiah 61:1 NKJV

I will fill you with a contagious joy, (make you laugh and shout for joy) for I delight in you. Job 8:21 NLT

The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet (calm your fears) you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.
  Zephaniah 3:17 HCSB

See I have engraved you on the palm of My hands. Isaiah 49:16 CJB

Transitions

I was doing some research on a dream I had a few nights ago and felt the Lord giving me an answer:
For some of us the journey has been long and difficult. Disappointments and depression over our families, finances, relationships and ministries. I believe that the Lord is saying that we are in the transition of labor… prepare yourself   Know that your promise is about to be birthed.

We are nearing the celebration of our Lord’s birth. Is this a coincidence that God may be nudging us to prepare our surroundings for our promise as a mother begins preparing by cleaning up the home for the arrival of the newborn?
If we are in the transition time of labor let us prepare ourselves for the promises.

This may mean taking a closer look at our character and how we use our words.

Do your words and character bring forth life or death?
What kind of environment will you be bringing your promise into?

How will you prepare for the Wonders of His Love?

Joy to the world! The Lord has come! Let earth receive her King! Let every heart prepare Him room! Heaven and Nature sing! based on Psalm 98 by Isaac Watts

Before You Rescued Me

Before you rescued me nothing was my own
I walked through the streets invisible and alone.

Suddenly … you came along … Your smile
Pierced through the shadows in my heart,
Jesus, You gave me a love that endures
And a promise to never part...

I find comfort in the shadow of your wings;
Lord as I put my trust in you My soul sings.

Jesus I lay down my burdens at your feet.
Your love daily renews … To take my soul
That was abused and make it new.
I will sing Hallelujah to the one who sets me free!

I have courage to face the dawn and the dark night                               Now I will rest, look in to me, and see what needs the light.

Fill my hunger with your Word …
I choose to drink from Your fountain
In my King I find my peace …
No one will sleep in my dreams but You.

Hallelujah Son of GOD Servant King You are building a place for me
Hallelujah Son of GOD Mighty Warrior King, coming for me to rescue.

Jesus I lay down my burdens at your feet.
Your love daily renews … To take my soul
That was abused and make it new.
I will sing Hallelujah to the One who sets me free!

That light shines in the darkness, yet the darkness did not overcome it. John 1:5
Reach down from heaven; rescue me from deep water, and set me free from the grasp of foreigners   Psalm 144:7

You have heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I. John 14:28
I won’t be in the world much longer, but they are in the world, and I’m coming back to you. Holy Father, keep them safe by the power of your name, the name that you gave me, so that their unity may be like ours. John 17:11

The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim freedom to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free the oppressed,
Luke 4:18
You will free me from the net that is secretly set for me, for You are my refuge. Psalm 31:4
