What are you Beholding?

What are you beholding today?

We become in our heart what we behold with our mind. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!
Philippians 4:8, Proverbs 4:23, Romans 12:2, 1 John 3:1
Today is a good day to behold. This week I pray that you will see everyone you meet through God’s eyes

Kintsukuroi

I was at a funeral on Monday at Ft Sam, some of my family members are buried there, and I was not prepared for all the emotions that came forward.  Sharing with friends about the healing we have received throughout our lives and even in the last few years. How much stronger we were for encountering Jesus and His love.

This conversation reminded me of a picture I found of a bowl. I found it to be a beautiful picture of restoration. Kintsukuroi is a Japanese technique to repair pottery.  The true life of the bowl began when it was dropped.  I see this like the love of the Father who fills the empty space with His mercy and grace by the blood of Jesus. We become more beautiful and valuable for having been broken. When we are broken and missing a piece of our self we are missing a peace that only Jesus can give.

At Rapha God in our prayer sessions we help people encounter Jesus so He can fill those places that have been broken, tattered and torn and bring healing and peace to their spirit, soul and body. When we discover the abiding realization that we are loved by a mighty God everything in our life changes.

Romans 14:17 for the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

The Kingdom IS IN the Holy Spirit. The realm of the Kingdom, dominion and rule is in the realm of the Spirit.

Ephesians 3:19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Kintsukuroi - (Noun) (v. phr.) “To repair with gold”; the art of repairing pottery with gold or silver lacquer and understanding that the piece is more beautiful for having been broken.

Source of Joy

When I created you I fashioned you Myself to be one of a kind.  My very own work of art, there is no one else like you. Compare yourself with no one, as an original your value is great beyond measure. My work is ongoing, a work that is precisely done by my hand and I will complete what I start. Embrace the changes and where I am taking you. Count on me to place you in the right place at the right time. I do all things magnificently.

When your heart is heavy with sorrow and you don’t know what to do, remember Your Beloved offers you His joy at the door of your heart. Ask of me and I will come in to lift you up.  I am the source of your joy, and I Am willing to apply my joy to your broken heart. Do not hesitate to respond to my call of joy. My joy brings healing to a hurting heart. I am in the process of bringing forth, even this very hour the wonder of My joy in ways you have never realized. Be watching and waiting for it will come.

Remember this Beloved you have great value and I want to fill your heart with My joy. Now walk in the knowledge that I Am with you always.

James 1:2, Psalm 8:1, Psalm 139:13, Psalm 40:5, Acts 13:52, Isaiah 61:1-3
