The Lord
will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen
your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water,
whose waters do not fail. Isaiah 58:11
(NKJV)
Good morning,
The dream I had about a sparrow flying into the
storm is one I had some years ago. I have had this dream at least twice since
then, usually when I have wanted to give up.
Always with a word of encouragement, (now is NOT the time to give up),
each time a building on what was said previously, which I did share, (if you missed it click on link http://poetwriterdreamer.blogspot.com/2014/01/embrace.html),
It seems that my heart is still stirring with something more my father
God wants to say.Thursday morning I awoke with this bible story on my
heart: Mark 4:38 NKJV But
He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him,
“Teacher, do You not care that we
are perishing?” Jesus
calmed the storm and the disciples were in awe. There was more Jesus wanted to
remind me, that He is in the boat with me and wants me to learn to rest in His
presence.
Sometime ago I heard Shelia Walsh say (paraphrase) “Our bodies is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and although our
souls may be ravaged by our circumstances
It continues to be God’s temple and at times it will lay in ruins, it is
still a sacred place. In the midst of
circumstances that don’t make sense we still need to be willing to worship
there.”
When the storm is
raging, I know my LORD Jesus is in the boat showing
me not to fear and to be satisfied in His Presence.
When all things
seem to be falling apart, He is asking me “what are you looking for?” Jesus
reminds me to keep my focus on Him, to stay in the shelter of the Most High, He
will tell me secrets and fill my weary soul and direct my path.
In my secret place
I find Your Peace. In my secret place I find Your Strength. In
my secret place I surrender all to You. When I linger in Your Presence I will
find Your joy and be satisfied.
Although situations
arise and circumstances reigns chaos all around. I choose to believe what the Word says and
will speak truth into every situation. He will rescue me just in time as my weary
soul is revived with the revealed knowledge of God’s Word.
When the storm is
raging, I know my LORD Jesus is in the boat
showing me not to fear and to be satisfied in His Presence.
1 Peter 2:5 NLT
And you are living stones that God is building into
his spiritual temple. What’s more, you are his holy priests. Through the mediation of Jesus Christ, you offer
spiritual sacrifices that please
God.
1 Corinthians 6:19 NKJV Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from
God, and you are not your own?
Psalm 46:5 (NKJV) God is
in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the
break of dawn.
