Speaking with friends yesterday, Linda reminded me to meet
with Jesus where I have heard Him speak before. Ben said he meets Jesus in a
boat, and Jay said he meets Jesus at the well. I liked the idea of sitting in a boat or by
the well and thought where do I meet with my Lord (as if I never had) and I
remembered the dance floor. It is always my choice to seek Him.
As I dance with the LORD around the
dance floor He speaks to me in whispers. I have to listen closely. Sometimes He
doesn’t give it all at once, I think because He wants to meet with me daily and
will give me what I need for the day. He
tells me:
“Learn to be silent
before Me. Learn of My rest so you can hear My Spirit speak to you of
instructions, answers to your questions, words to speak to someone in need, a
prophetic word, a kind word.” How do we practice silence to hear the Father’s words?
Thank you LORD you are teaching me to
seek you daily as a friend seeks relationship and you desire to spend time with
me because you delight in me.
Proverbs 25:11 Like apples of gold in
settings of silver, so
is a word skillfully spoken. New English Translation
Zephaniah
3:17 The Lord your God is in your midst; he is a warrior who can
deliver. He takes great delight in you; he renews you by
his love; he shouts for joy over you.”
Actually the Lord impressed upon me
the words below but it took yesterday to make it clear to me. Tami said to me
that sometimes speaking them to others helps you clarify what you heard. I
agree.
Sit in my presence and
the radiance of My glory will bring you peace. The time you spend with me, the
sacrifice of your time, I cherish being with you. As you spend time with me,
the transformation is beginning, yield to my creative work. I make beautiful
things; let me make something beautiful out of you. Hold my hand and you will
see your way open up step by step.
